Bad news guys, it’s not Kimberly the Pink Ranger. It is however Jason David Frank, the dagger/flute playing, “Jesus Didn’t Tap” owner,  SIXTH DEGREE KARATE BLACK BELT, “Green Ranger” who is set out to make his MMA debut on the 30th of January 2009. Jason says, “”Everyone is going to want to beat up the Green Ranger. But I am no Kimbo; I’ve been training for a very long time. I wanted to get in there before, but I got injured. Yes guys, the guy is a 6th degree karate black belt and currently holds a Brazilian Jiu-jitsu Blue Belt with Gracie Barra. He is currently training with UFC fighter Melvin Guillard who has been working with Jason with his wrestling. He has signed with SuckerPunch Entertainment, a marketing and management company that specialises in Mixed-Martial Arts.

The “Green Ranger” is set to face-off with Jonathan “The Mack Truck” Mack in Lonestar Beatdown in the Houston Arena Theatre on January 30 of this year.

Let’s just hope he doesn’t pull his weapon out (no sexual innuendo intended) in the middle of the match to call on the mighty “Dragonzord”.
