UFC Fight Night 26 Mauricio “Shogun” Rua and Chael Sonnen Walkout Gear

This is the start of something new. We’ve got Rua and Sonnen going toe to toe on Fox Sports 1, a new player in the realm of hosting MMA fights. It’s all going down at the TD Bank Center in Boston, Massachusetts – August 17.

This fight is especially interesting – you have Sonnen as one of UFC’s carnival barker’s coming in all but shy; not a whole lot has been said about his opponent Rua. Yet, he goes and mouths off on everyone from celebrities to previous fighters, like Silva. A very interesting dynamic is seen in this fight as there’s much respect being paid to Rua, but disrespect to Rua’s training partner, Silva, and both their home country.

You’ve got former light heavyweight champion, Rua, eager to have that belt back warming his belly and you’ve got Sonnen who equally has something to prove with all the noise he’s made in the past.
